I have always loved this organization because their money directly affects the programs. I also enjoy the work of the Director. Her work resonates with me. In a different life I would love to work outside of my country on contract. This would mean that a job would last a certain amount of time. I would work to bring a vision to fruition within that time frame. That is motivating to me as I am so task oriented and will drive hard if I have a goal.
This job below is a program administrator. I would appreciate this work because there is a specific goal in mind. The work is valuable because it pertains to child abuse. I am a former foster mother, an adoptive mother from within the foster care system. I am well versed at navigating those systems and the severe complications that come from abuse. I have work with ACE's. These are Adverse Childhood Experiences. I have taught resilience to young people that have experienced many ACE's as well as acute trauma and chronic trauma. I believe my leadership skills would make me a great candidate for a position such as this. I am independent and not afraid of new situations but look upon them as a challenge.

Over the last 64 years, our work has contributed to child-friendly national policies, increased public and private investment in young children, and the provision of direct community services that have benefited millions of families.
This seems like an amazing organization.

I believe I could get behind the mission of this organization due to the mission statement. I also believe my leadership skills would be able to support my work here. I think being culturally diverse, knowing spanish and having a great acceptance of different lenses would advance my work in this organization.
The last organization that resonated with me is UNESCO. This organization has a great vision:
UNESCO works to create the conditions for dialogue among civilizations, cultures and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values. It is through this dialogue that the world can achieve global visions of sustainable development encompassing observance of human rights, mutual respect and the alleviation of poverty, all of which are at the heart of UNESCO’S mission and activities.
The broad goals and concrete objectives of the international community – as set out in the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) – underpin all UNESCO’s strategies and activities. Thus UNESCO’s unique competencies in education, the sciences, culture and communication and information contribute towards the realization of those goals.
UNESCO’s mission is to contribute to the building of peace, the eradication of poverty, sustainable development and intercultural dialogue through education, the sciences, culture, communication and information. The Organization focuses, in particular, on two global priorities: Africa and Gender Equality
The following job would be one that I would probably be able to do because of my knowledge of Spanish. However, this company works with French and English. I am literate in French only socially.
